Alas!,when and if Bush is forced to give up the ghost and abandon it’s empirical Neocon goals in Iraq...when the weary troops head South to Kuwait having "won" (saving face), what horrors will befall this sad country?
The Bush adminisration predicts, sadly, that there will be sectarian violence and civil war. Oil pipelines will be bombed, so will police stations and mosques!
As if that wasn’t enough, bodies will begin showing up in the Tigris, tortured and beheaded!, government officials (…)

Marshmallow Chicks and Chocolate Jesus
4 April 2007By Peter Fredson
March 3, 2007
This is the time when Christian churches give out palm fronts, while people put ashes on their foreheads, eat Christ’s body, drink the blood of Jesus and make signs of crosses in the air. For me, the hero on the cross was Spartacus, but I know that other people disagree and do not celebrate his crucifixion.
Some people dye little chicks pink and blue, while others have fuzzy chick replicas made of pink and blue marshmallow. Other people buy rabbits made (…) -
WE GONNA HIT THE JACKPOT REAL SOON: Why You Should Worry More about DU than Allergies
3 April 2007WE GONNA HIT THE JACKPOT REAL SOON Why You Should Worry More About DU than Allergies This morning I flipped on The Tube to the weather channel to see what we’re having today. In the minute before the local weather, they had a commercial—natch! It was about a [locomotive] air conditioner that would get rid of practically all of the allergens in your house.
"Most households," they said, "Have five times more allergens than the air outside."
Yipes! We live in the good ol’ misty, (…) -

Locals Protest Vulture Capitalists and the Iraqi War
3 April 2007“It is the common people, who must, under God, save us.” - Sam Adams, patriot and rebel against British rule in America. (1)
Baltimore, MD - The goldfish in our pond had a pretty rough time this winter. The great blue heron, a majestic bird, which is usually found on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, was eating them for dessert. I would chase the herons away, whenever I could, but they kept coming back, and back, until they got them all, except a few too small to bother with. If you’re the (…) -

In funding of the Iraq War, supporters have thrown our soldiers under the bus
3 April 2007In funding of the Iraq War, supporters have thrown our soldiers under the bus By Mary MacElveen April 3, 2007
As one reads where Senator Harry Reid may move to cut funds to this war in Iraq, it is time for Americans that voted for a change to come forth in support of this measure. It is time to rise and shine America. You can no longer hide in some fox hole oblivious to this war’s failure. As of today, 3,252 soldiers have lost their lives. Some see Reid’s call as being an uphill battle (…) -
2 BIG QUESTIONS Nobody’s asking
3 April 2007ONE: One day, perhaps YEARS from now, after the US occupation forces, tails between their legs and faces shadowed with humiliation, head down the long and dangerous road to Kuwait and then come home to waiting families, Iraq is going to somehow manage a viable government (just as did the Vietnamese). They WILL create a functional country, alive with commerce and with some plan which recognizes the various sectarian difficulties and gets a handle on them. Perhaps...nay, almost CERTAINLY, at (…)
